Refrigeration Maintenance
Refrigeration Maintenance is one of our many specialities here at Ultimate Cooling. When working in an environment where refrigeration is a key element, it is vital to maintain their cleanliness and ability to run efficiently long term. Ultimate Cooling Ltd can provide a preventative maintenance programme for any Refrigeration Equipment you have.
We can reduce call outs throughout the year also preventing component damage saving your business unnecessary expense.
Refrigeration Maintenance is commonly arranged annually or every 6 months to maintain your Refrigeration equipment, but we can tailor a Maintenance package specifically for you and your business requirements.
A member of our team would contact you and arrange a suitable time to carry out the Refrigeration Maintenance that is ideally suited to your business needs and to minimise any disruption. On completion of the maintenance to your refrigeration equipment you will receive supporting paperwork detailing work carried out. This will also include details for FGas Regulation, refrigerant leak testing which is a legal requirement for any Refrigeration systems with + 3kg containing CFC and HCFC Refrigerant gases.
We Offer Refrigeration Maintenance Contracts
One of the most important aspects of maintaining your Refrigeration Equipment is to clean the condensers, this is because dirt and dust build up insulates the coil preventing the condenser from rejecting heat and stopping the refrigeration process. Blocked condensers cause condenser Fan motors and compressors to over- heat leading to component failure and preventable repair bills.
Another key feature of your Refrigeration Maintenance is to ensure the evaporator coil is defrosting correctly. Ice build-up on the evaporator insulates the coil, preventing the evaporator from absorbing heat from your cabinet or room and stopping the refrigeration process. This will also lead to inefficiency and an increase in running costs.
Our Engineers will ensure the evaporator is fully defrosted and will also check all defrost settings and heaters to ensure the evaporator coil remains clear.
Cleaning the Interior is also a key point to maintaining the quality of your Refrigeration Unit, this can be done by yourself or your employees on a weekly basis. To do this you would simply use a warm damp cloth to get rid of any stains, spills or anything that could contaminate the Refrigeration equipment. By doing all the above will help sanitise your equipment and keep it clean and fresh.
