Air Conditioning Maintenance
Air Conditioning Maintenance is essential if you want a long lasting, efficient running unit. Maintaining your Air Conditioning increases energy efficiency, meaning reduced running costs and avoidable breakdowns, preventing expensive component failure.
The most important Air Con maintenance task is to keep the indoor unit filters clean, the reason for this is once the filters are blocked the indoor unit is unable to re circulate the room air over the indoor unit coil, to cool or heat to satisfy the rooms desired set temperature. Clean filters ensure you, your staff and customers are breathing cleaner and sanitised air.
We Offer Air Conditioning Maintenance Contracts
The frequency the filters require cleaning will vary depending on the environment they are working in, this can also be monitored through an Air Conditioning maintenance contract and if your equipment requires more frequent cleaning this will be discussed with you on our visit.
Another part of our Air Conditioning Maintenance includes cleaning the indoor and outdoor coils with specialised coil cleaner. Dust and dirt gathering within the coils will insulate them which will stop the Refrigeration process, preventing the absorption and rejection of heat. Fin Combs can also be used if required to ensure maximum airflow and efficiency through the coils if they are misshaped or flattened. All system drains will be flushed through and tested for leaks. Blocked drains and drip trays will provide a base for bacteria to breed, which can be prevented by regular maintenance.
In addition, a full Air Conditioning Refrigerant leak test will be carried out and refrigerant levels checked in accordance with current FGAS regulations. An Air Conditioning Maintenance check list will be provided to you to support the checks carried out.
